What happened at the ashram
On a thirty-day trip through southern India, Sergi Sai Mora planned to visit several ashrams and fly home at the end of the month. Twenty kilometres from Sathya Sai Baba's ashram, he felt a field of energy so powerful that he left his companions, asked for a room, and decided to stay there for the rest of the trip.
Three hours later, meditating in the final twenty minutes of the visit, a voice spoke inside him.
You cannot stay here.
It offered no explanation, no new teaching. He repacked his bag, returned to the old van, and continued the trip.
What followed was not a rejection of the mystical experience, but a shift in the place it occupied in his life. Through the locked bathroom of a company, an apology to his daughter, and the quiet fear caused by an unread message, he faces the rooms no teacher can enter for him.
The question that stayed
Does it survive Monday?
For him, a teaching survives when it helps him stay present, tell the truth, carry what is his to carry, and repair what he damages.
Who this book is for
You Cannot Stay Here is written for those who still value their teachers, but suspect that devotion may have become a way of postponing their own decisions. It is not an argument against gurus or against extraordinary experience. It is an invitation to find out whether that light can enter the life waiting when the meditation ends.

You Cannot Stay Here tells the moment a spiritual search began returning to everyday life. The Power of the Ordinary tells the whole journey: the experiences that sent me looking for answers outside myself, and the life that finally made me live them.
